Rao jodha- It is a beautiful place adjoining a small pond where birds were seen in the water. It is peaceful and a good view of the city is available. It is also known as janswant thada and is a memorial built in marble . It can be called the taj mahal of marwar. It is a place where mughal architecture can be seen.

Umaid bhavan- the royal family still resides here and there is a museum and the hotel. We saw the museum & the collection of vintage cars.

Kuldhera village- It is a haunted abandoned village . It is creepy since it is uninhabited. The are stories that say salim singh fell in love with the chief's daughter and the entire community left the village Overnight.
There is a Stepwell and one house has been constructed as an example of what the houses in the village looked like.
No local driver is ready to go there in the night and there are stories of ghosts.

Patwon ki haveli- It is a intricately carved haveli, which can also be viewed from the inside. Buy is partially occupied & only a part can be viewed from the inside, though the beautiful architecture on the outside is a must see.

Nathmalji ki haveli- The haveli can onlyy be seen from the outside .There are two elephants guarding the gate.

Salim singh ki haveli- It is in the shape of a ship. You can have a look around for an entry fee.

Jaisalmer fort- It is huge. It is so huge that there are houses temple and shops inside. The below picture is of the entire jaisalmer as can be seen from a point on the fort. watching the sunset from here was a treat.

Tanot mata- It is a temple where the soldiers on the border pray . It is believed that even during the war no bombs had managed to damage the temple. It is a quiet place

Logewala- We see a video of the India Pakistan war and we then see dummy barracks put up .


Sam sand dunes- It is a total Entertainment package where the camel takes you to the dunes. You can see the sunset at the dunes & then the resort or the package that you have taken takes you back to the entertainment area. We chose the tao's lakhmana camp.Starters are served while there is a local cultural dance program , where there is a dance program. The program that we saw had the highlight where the girl picked up a blade with her eyelashes. then you can dance with the local girls.

Next day was fun because we travelled by bike.

Lodurva jain mandir- It is an ancient Jain Mandir. 

Bada bagh- It is famous for the aishwarya rai- salman khan wedding scene which was shot here.It is a place where many chhatris are constructed in memory of the death of the royal family.

 We are on our way back.
so then

Jodhpur- We do a little bit of shopping . I buy kurtis and snehal buys chappals.

Machhia park- It houses animals and is something like a mini zoo
